The Maple Lodge Farms Special Event Team is taking a little road trip this summer...make that a BIG road trip...about 7,000 kilometres wide of a road trip to be exact. From July 4 to August 3 2010, Grant, Kim, Cassandra, Natalie, Mike and Josh - 6 wicked young people from the GTA - will be hitting all the major cities across Canada, hosting free BBQs at grocery stores and head offices that Maple Lodge is in partnerships with. Traveling in a 70 foot tractor trailer from hotel to hotel, they're on a mission to get the nation hooked on chicken. Things of Day 11

Current Time: 10:35 p.m. (Calgary time)

Curent Tune: The Fox, the Crow, and the Cookie - mewithoutYou

Free Advice: When staying in a Country Inn and Suites, you have the luxury of free cookies at the front desk - always opt for the chocolate chip. The dark-chocolate-chunky looking one just isn't as good.

Fact: My stomach is delightfully full of Tandoori chicken from Earl's.

Observation: Downtown Calgary is beautifully funky.

Realization: I need to take a trip to the bank before I go to bed.

Team Whereabouts: Grant, Mike, Cassandra and Natalie are swimming downstairs.

Other Team Member's Whereabouts: Josh is seeing the sights of Calgary with his cousin.

Issue: Our hotel room is already rather messy.

Exciting News: Tomorrow = Stampede day!!!

Closing Remarks: We bought 25 heads of lettuce and 8 bags of tomatoes today...get ready for the ultimate wrap party.
